    Really?

Alright, well, occasionally I go onto ebay classifieds to see if there is anything I could use. I was browsing the pet section and found an ad for a piebald ball python. There was not much said but to e-mail for further information. I did, and this is the response I got:

    Good evening,
    >
    > The Qualities of jenny are as stated below:
    > Name: Jenny.
    > Sex: Female
    > Age: 12 weeks old.
    > Socialization:
    > The piebald pythont well socialized with kids and other home pets.
    > Temperament:
    > The piebald pythont has a good temperament.
    > Health:
    > Veterinary checked and comes with all papers.
    > What's included:
    > The baby pet is registered/registrable,current vaccinations,

    > Jenny is an adorable pet
    > Personality:

    > snuggled but also likes to chew on her bones and play with her toys.
    > Jenny is a real sweetheart!
    > Structure:
    > very nice coloring and very cute looking great head and nice shoulders.
    > She is a nice pet
    > I love Jenny so much and can't watch her suffer.
    > I am giving the pet out because my research study takes almost all my
    > time and i have very little time to spend with Jenny at home.
    > At times i travel out of town leaving the pet all alone in the house
    > with her food and toys.
    > I hate to see Jenny lonely and sad.
    > Jenny will be offered for free but before we proceed, i will like to
    > have the answers to the question below because the answers will give
    > you the guarantee to re-home the piebald pythont
    > I don't want Jenny to suffer in her new home and will need a guarantee
    > from the answers of the questions before the pet is send to your home.
    >
    > 1)Where are you located?
    > 2)Have you had a piebald pythont before?
    > 3)Can you promise to take very good care of Jenny when she gets to your home?
    > 4)Do you have other pets at home, and would they be friendly to Jenny?
    > 5)Do you need the pet for yourself or as a gift to a stranger?
    > 6)Do you have children and are they familiar with pets
    >
    > I look forward to read from you.
    > Thanks.

I dunno man, i'd almost risk it because it said she had nice shoulders. My snakes always seem to have shoulder problems, and it'd be nice to finally not have to see them limping around all the time.

    dr del
I already reported them to ebay classifieds, and to their e-mail provider. Hopefully yahoo.com has the same policy as hotmail.com and just deletes the e-mail account.

    Re: Really?

Ha ha, definitely a scam. I read the shoulder part, chewing bones part ,and toys part, and I was thinking "Are we talking about a ball python, or a dog?

    Re: Really?

You see these adds on kijiji alot too. They are always so funny. I have seen snakes advertised as being well socialized and get along with your dogs and cats too lol. Like derek said, its a nigerian scam. Id play along and message them. Let us know what other silly things they say.
Hey I missed the part about up to date vaccinations and pedigreed! HAHAHA
