    Re: Tub size

    Thats what I use.

They're the Iris brand VE175 tubs, aka Christmas Tree Storage tubs

You can get em at Walmart around Christmas time, as well as Aldi's. I HAVE seen them at Target before, but I dont think they are selling them anymore.

    USP Plastics sells them

    Reptile Tubs sells them

Thanks for the info! Its much appreciated. Out of curiosity that size tub would also prob make a decent life long cage for a male rtb? im sure my bloods will love a container that size once i get my hands on a few.

    Re: Tub size

Not sure on the RTB's, but I know people DO keep them in these tubs as well.

These tubs are perfect for the life of Blood Pythons, you wouldnt need anything bigger.

Perhaps you think Bloods reach greater sizes than they do, or you are underestimating these tubs.

I use it for my 7' 4" 21 lb dumerils boa.

From what I can tell, they have about the same floor space as a 4 X 2 enclosure. Not as wide but a little longer...

    you are wrong.

a VE175 has less than 7 sq ft of floor space (actually roughly 6.25)

    4x2 is 8 sq ft.

    Huge difference.
