They all have names, and I remember which personalities go with those names, so they're still pets at over 40 animals. lol

The geckos are a bit tougher...with some species, I CANNOT TELL THEM APART. It's hard to assign personality and name to something when you can't tell it from the one next to it. The mourning geckos are the worst. I have 3 of them, and they are all clones (parthenogenic species), so of course they look virtually the same, lol.

Definitely more like a school of fish at that point...it's hard to say that an individual animal is a pet in such cases.
