Animal Plastics Standard Rack - Side Radiant Heat

I'm interested in trying one of these racks with the side radiant heat.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

And how do they heat this? Heat tape up the sides?

    Thanks,

    Heat tape up both sides

The probe placement is pretty slick which is one of the things I like about the idea.

I believe the wattage for the VE175 racks at full power is something like 240w

Re: Animal Plastics Standard Rack - Side Radiant Heat

Its in a spot where it actually measures the air temperature inside the tubs.

Sure, the sides of the tubs get a couple degrees warmer, but it creates a warm "ZONE" in the whole back end of the tubs. Not just a warm floor, or a warm back of the tub.

This also enables me to lower the room temp a degree or two as it also provides a little extra warmth to the tub.
