MY Ball Python is wheezing
my Ball Python that i have had for like a year has been wheezing on and off for a while now. i have the humidity 50-55% and 60-65% for her shedding is this a problem

Could be a serious problem.
Have you seen any bubbles coming out of her nose or mouth?
Has she been breathing with her mouth open at all?

no bubbles coming out of her nose or mouth and she does not breathe with her mouth open she well wheez for like a day or two than she well just stop

Could just be a piece of an old shed stuck in her nose.
Just to be sure though I would turn up the heat sightly.
Keep and eye out for any mucus or open mouth breathing, if you seen any of that it is a RI and needs to be treated with antibiotics.

Can you hear it when you aren't holding her? Alot of times they will breathe heavier when being handled. Some other signs of possible RI will be excessive face rubbing or laying with their head elevated. You can also hear popping or gurgling like sound, much like when you have a chest cold. You can also look around on the cage furnishings or glass for any dried mucus...

I thought one of my snakes was weezing for awhile. Thought the worse ohh no a RI. Remember snakes do hiss lol. He hisses everytime I handle him. Fine in the aquarium. prolly just stress.
