My girlfriend has the same view you do she thinks that even someone with 10 or so snakes does it for the money...

I think that once it becomes to many for you to handle you have become a "Big Breeder" but just because you become a breeder doesn't mean you do it or the money. I currently have 4 snakes and handle all of them allot, but i want to expand and produce the snakes I enjoy, not to sell them or breed the ones worth the most money, but the ones I enjoy looking at. First up are bees...

But back to the subject when I do expand I will always have my snakes I consider pets like my first bp a normal male who will probably never breed, but he started the hobby for me and my female spider my Girlfriends favorite snake. Those are 2 I will never let go off and of coarse one special bee and I will have them as my showcase animals! My "Pets" but I still have the rest simply because I love the hobby!
