They need to have at least two hides in a tank, there's not really any "should they" about it. In a rack, it's not necessary, but mine get one.
1.0 normal ball python, Simon
1.0 spider ball python, Noah
0.1 genetic blurry ball python, Eleanor

Yeah they should
People come here to ask questions and get solid answers. He may use hides for his already, but that might not stop him from asking the question (and it shouldn't). Sometimes it's just cool to see how others do things.
If I were to house in an aquarium type tank I would offer multiple hides. Most of mine kept in racks don't get one. I do, however place an extra sheet of paper loosely and they hide under that. It covers the entire tub, so they can go wherever they want temp wise and still be covered.

There's a history within his threads, and it would be nice not to see it repeated over and over is all I'm sayin.

I place the hide on the warm side for the ones that have them. They'll move them around to suit their self.

Same here. They'll move it around or dig themselves down to the bottom of the tub, or just choose not to use it.
