thanks for your concern... but i have tried several times to switch her substrate and she hates anything other than sand. ive had her over a yr and she has ben happy and healthy ever since. i have tried aspen, cypress multch, and other stuff that ive read about to use but when i do she stresses out horribly and flips out. so sand is the only thing to keep her happy, and i know just bc they are called sand boas that they arnt supose to be housed with sand. as i said, she hates everything else. but thanks!

Try crushed walnut shells. It's basically sand but isn't nearly as fine and doesn't have the same amount of dust material. It's also a bit safer.
