    Snake won't eat rat...But i am little scared of removing the rat now

    Pretty big size rat... any tips? and what should i do with it .. I can't keep it frozen.

    I agree with the other poster, long tongs would work. Or you could try long tongs?

    You can just throw it out, or find another way to dispose of it. They have those Ziploc bags that keep sell in, or you can go straight outside and toss it in the garbage can.

    You can use a towel to block the snake from seeing your hand as you reach in to get the rat. If the rat was frozen/thawed you shouldn't refreeze it.

    How big do you mean by a pretty big sized rat? Ball pythons normally cant eat rats on the pretty big sized scale and that may be why you are having this problem.

    pick the rat up. Are you afraid of rats or something? I have no problems handling my rats no matter what size they are. They dont ever bite. The mice on the other hand will give a bit or two off every now and then.

    Maybe hes afraid to reach in the tub and remove the rat seeing as the bp may think his had is a better choice of food
