    noob question

    i have a question, my feeder pinkies have freezer burn on them. is it still okay that i am feeding them to my snakes?? should i get all new mice? and last question, how do i prevent freezer burn in the first place??? thanks alot!!! and please let me know soon so i can get new mice and not starve my 3 snakes!!! thanks alot!!!!

    I get my mice from a reptile store live and they are killed there. So fresh I guess.

    You can prevent freezer burn by making sure that there is no air in the bag. They have little Ziploc bags where you can suck the air out of them.

    I think it's fine, if it's defrosted. You would be wasting money if you kept throwing them out, anyways.

    They should be fine, they will just be a bit more tender when thawed. Watch out for exploding stomachs when handling them, it doesn't take much when they get that way.
