Yes. Also the belly should be looking a little pink. Bump up the humidity to about 65%-70% and let them do their thing, probably sometime in the next week...

    Re: shedding

It is. It may stay that way for a few days, or go back to looking normal. Then one day you'll see heavily clouded milky-blue eye caps. This may last a day or so, and then the skin will look normal again. After this is when the shedding will happen. All told, it can be a week or more at times.

Once your BP is done, make sure its eye caps have come off. Also make sure the very tip of the tail has no shed.

When the eyes are clouded over, your BP can't see very well, but it will see heat. Don't be surprised if it is defensive during this time.

If the entire shed doesn't come off, soak in very shallow lukewarm water for about 15 - 30 minutes (DON'T leave it unattended!), then gently use a rag in the water to help remove the shed.

    Re: shedding

It could stress him out, since he can't see much. Wait until the shed is done before handling him unless you need to clean the tank.

They shed about every 6 weeks give or take and after a shed, they always poop! They can poop at anytime though! Some snakes poop all the time, some once a month. It all depends on how much you feed!
