    Soaking while on medicine?

Well, to make a long story short, I noticed my 5 y/o Beardie Reka making a noise that she wasn't supposed to make, so I took her to the vet on Tuesday (I thought RI, but apparently not). He kept her for the day to observe her, and while she was there he gave her a fecal. Apparently she has some kind of a parasite (if I were the one who picked up the medicine, I would have asked what it was, but my mom went to get it). So he gave us a topical medicine to apply to her belly once a week for the next four weeks.

Now, Reka is acting perfectly normal and has kept her appetite and everything (she had a belly full of crickets the day she went to the vet, so nothing wrong with her lust for food!) The only symptom that I ever saw was her 'coughing' or whatever.

My question is, because she has this topical medicine (it was almost like lotion?) on her stomach.. should I soak her? I would assume not, because it might wash the medicine off, but I was just going to see if any of you knew for sure.

I would be concerned about the meds getting mixed with the water and then her drinking and soaking up said water.

What is the name of the medicine? Is Topical its name? The reason I ask is because alot of vets know next to nothing about reptiles and I cant remember anyone having to rub meds on their bellys when treating a cough...especially after the cough being caused by parasites.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Well, this vet was recommended to me by a few people and it was on a list of reptile vets from Repticzone.com. The vet is also a bird clinic so I'm assuming they kind of specialize in exotics.

The medicine he gave me is called Fenbendazole. He said that sometimes parasites can migrate up to the chest. On the instructions it says to apply once weekly for 4 weeks, topically.
