Worried...

I was wondering if it is possible for a ball to get pink eye from a Human. I was diagnosed with it this morning and I wount be contagious in 24 hours and I havent been handleing her just incase. She left a little present for me in her cage that I would like to clean up. Is it safe for me to touch her? Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would imagine that it would be fine, but maybe there is a doctor on here that could tell you for sure. If you are worried, wash your hands well before cleaning up the enclosure.

I've read that they can't contract any of our sicknesses and vice versa, although I don't know if that's true or now. But like Mrs. S said, wash your hands really well. Or maybe wear a pair of latex gloves, if you have any.

Well, there are SOME things we can get from snakes such as salmonella.
