Re: We've got eggs!
Wow interesting what u find when u look urself up, lol...
Congrads on the clutch, males looking good.. Wanted to add that my 2009 clutch # 12 was the same exact breeding as the clutch u linked in ur post that ended up w/ different results..2008 i had some issues w/ my incubator spiking from the summer heat and feel that the results were due to incubation not genetics, maybe ull discover something different..
Good luck,

That may very well be the case! Some never prove out, some throw all kinds of odd results that make no sense. It is fun to work on these projects though. Regardless of the genetic outcomes, I'll be thrilled as long as we have healthy snakes poking their noses out in the end. It's been a good learning experience too.
Since I'm here, I might as well update on the eggs. They've been in the 'bator for 17 days now. Despite the humidity reading 99%, they did start to dimple a bit, so I moved them to tubs and covered those good to keep the humidity in. They haven't sunken any further, so we'll see how they do.
Now, the one egg I was worried about (The one that was off to the side when I removed them.) appears to be dead, unfortunately. I no longer see healthy veins when candling. They're there, but just barely. This egg has also been sweating quite a bit from the start. I'm leaving it alone for now just in case, but do think we might end up losing that one. It hasn't gone bad or become hard yet, so I want to give it a chance. The rest all look good, though I haven't caught sight of the actual snakes inside them yet. Big, healthy, red veins. June 30th can't come fast enough...
Good luck to you this year, as well!
