Killerbee x Normal 12 egg clutch

This is my second clutch of the season, and this girl's first clutch with me. She was paired with the killerbee male and laid 12 good eggs with 0 slugs. I'm hoping for some nice bees and pastels out of this one!

    Starting to lay:

This one just came out, you can see a spur scrape on the side.

    All done:

    12 nice eggs:

Thanks guys Honestly, I didn't weight her pre-lay vs post-lay. That may be something I look to do in the future, but this year I chose to just leave her be rather than disturb her. I figure 0 slugs is a good indicator that I did things right.

Prelay was somewhere in the neighborhood of 3500 grams, when I weighed her way back in the fall. She's named "Bertha" for a reason

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!...That has to be one of my top 5 favorite morphs. I plan on using the Spider/pastel gene in my first few pairings, one day making it to your level and to producing Killerbees.

Congrats again. Hopefully you get more bees.
