Question about Prego ASF
I just got a breeding colony about a month ago now and I finally noticed that one is pregnant. Yesterday was the first day that you could visually tell that she had a bulge in her belly when you hold her upside down from the base of her tail.
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea as to how long it usually takes for them to pop once you notice a bit of a belly??

Premier Pet
Scent-Free Aspen Bedding.
I got it from PetSmart. I also have some little apple tree branches in there that they seem to really like.
If you look really close you can see the little pieces that came off a pringle can as well. They go nuts over pringle cans! ha I give them something new every week so that they keep their minds off trying to escape. I haven't had any chewing at the tub yet. (Knock on wood)

Re: Question about Prego ASF
When they bulge and waddle, youve got a week or less till they drop. When they just bulge, about a week or so.
25-28 days in between litters btw, so once this first one drops you should be able to predict the next one.

Re: Question about Prego ASF
Awesome! How many litters does an average female have per year? If heat is maintained throughout the year, will they continue to have a litter every month?
