    Hi,

    Because there will be times when you need to get her out and it's better to plan ahead and have a hide where you can always get access.

    I made the same mistake myself with a bit of chola wood - snake loved it, I grew to loathe it.

    Took me two weeks to finally catch him outside of it so I could remove it.

    I did something similar to two of my tanks. I was using 2 of those heavy Zilla cave hides. I'm holding the snake in one hand, scooping out poop with the other hand. When I finished, I reached down, picked up the hide one-handed, and proceeded to drop it through the bottom of the tank. About 2 months later, in a moment of haste, history repeated itself. After that, I bought some of the Reptile Basics plastic hides and never looked back. I just put a small piece of the vine wood or one of those small rock water bowls flipped upside down in their enclosures to rub on...
