I've written a few articles on my site about it, but last night I realized that I was preaching to the choir and threw this together. If you don't want to spend the time reading it I'll sum it up for you.

Start using your social networks to communicate the issue with family and friends outside of the reptile industry. Tell people that matter to you that this issue is important to you and they'll probably be happy to support your efforts. To often we "keep it in the family" and only other keepers hear much about it. I'd hazard to guess that for most of us, unless we make an effort, no one aside from a few close friends and family have any idea this is happening.
