Yea my boa is pretty awesome he will chill for hours whether its watching a movie or just walkin around the house, I swear she has a personality but hey thats debatable too.
Dont feel bad asking for other peoples opinion either thats what were here for to put in a two cents whether you take it or not were still gonna give it. Though it does come down to what you decide it still helps hearing someone elses two cents so ASK AWAY lol....

Neither, get yourself a Borneo short tail python, They are the bomb and everything else hails in comparison..

Re: carpet python or boa?
I am a python person so of course Carpet
However remember it's up to YOU and YOU alone, YOU will be the one caring for the animal for the next 30 years.
Do your research and see what animal is the best fit for YOU.

Re: carpet python or boa?
I have 2 Carpets (IJ's) and they are both great snakes. I love their size, I love their color, I love their pattern, I love their personality, I love that they are always out, I love that they are good to handle, I love my snakes!
Now, it's entirely up to you to find what YOU love

You picked my two favorite kinds of carpets As of today, I now have one of each! They're both new and settling in and of different ages, so I don't think much can be concluded from their personality yet.
Is size important to you? IJs tend to be smaller than Bredli's.
