Thanks for the advice Stephanie! It's so hard leaving him alone I've seen him exploring everyday, usually around dusk, so I hope that's a good sign that he'll eat.

If he roams a lot it's not a good sign. Make sure his hide is nice and snug, that's usually the problem most new bp owners have. I use the small plastic pots for hides and solder a 'doorway' in them.

I know it's hard to leave them alone!!! But you can do it! Just look at these pictures any time you think about putting your hand in the tank/tub!
