Yeah I did notice some good prices on the frozen feeders, but I feed live so I didn't pick any up. If I lived closer it wouldn't have been so bad but like I said maybe it was just the drive to get there that really dissapointed me. I think I was just expecting more considering the long drive to get there. But yeah a couple tables really upset me. Like the 4 roosters crammed into 1 small cage and the few ball pythons at this certain table were in dusty/dirty looking small glass showcases.

Everyone elses tables were nice and professional looking though. The Dart Frogs were awesome, and there was some pretty good prices. If I remember correctly 1 guy was selling normals in the back right corner for only $20. I also saw Emperor Scorpions for like $7-$8 each or buy so many and you get a deal.

But honestly I think it's a good thing that I went to the Wheaton one because now I am even more pumped for Tinley Park. I am definately going to make a whole day out of that event and pick up a new Ball Python, and possibly even more than 1.

Well after reading seven pages I think I'll have to go there and check it out for myself... and maybe buy a BP or two
    1.0 100% Het. Ghost
4 Pygocentrus Nattereri (Red belly Piranhas)
1 Serrasalmus Sanchezi (Purple Spilo Piranha)

I've spent thousands on my fish hobby alone its a little scary thinking about how much I'll be spending now that I'm getting into the world of herps.

I talked to my mom, now it's a definite yes that I'm going, and both days too! My birthday is Nov. 1st, which gave me some leverage. Now I just need to start saving for a mojave or woma.

At shows there are always a couple tables, or vendors you need to look out for. And yes, at the wheaton show there are a few that I know. I am friends with quite a few of the good ones though, it's a good show. The people are nice, and if you buy a good snake from the right person you'll get yourself a good deal.

The show is best when you get their earlier in the morning, the vendors sometimes start packing up early around 2. It starts at 10.

You should try to get an advance on that birthday money lol. Call up all your relatives and politely ask them. This way you can have fat pockets both days

I can't wait to go. This thread was a bad idea, because now I find myself thinking about it at random times.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to ask for birthday money in advance--and if it's at all possible to skip gifts and just give me money, haha. I've been finding myself not paying attention in class because I'm thinking about Tinley instead, you guys are right!

Definately excited for Tinley. I live 5 minutes from the convention center but the only time i was there was like 4 years ago to buy a turtle. This time around I'm hoping to get a good deal on an albino or a pair of het albinos!
