Corns like their hot spot at about 80-84...the same as a BP's COOL side. If you must keep corns and balls in the same rack/stack of cages, put the corns on the bottom to keep them cooler and make their 'hot' side the same as the BPs cool side.

That is pretty cold for a ball python. Ball pythons need a hot spot in the low 90's and I am pretty sure that is too hot for corns.
THey do not need a 90s hot spot. 88-90 is what i keep mine at. The temps we give are a general guide line and you need to fine tune it to what you and the snake need/like/work. Ive noticed anything above 90 they spend less time on warm side. but at a set t-stat at 90 they spend more time on the heat.
