The Azureus looks a bit thin (and very small) . How is it doing now?
And unlike in snakes, it is not a good idea to hybridize the two. They should be kept apart once they reach sexual maturity.

Hi Rich, thank you for your input. I took those pictures shortly after I got them both and sadly - neither one of them survived. I'm devastated, and not sure what I did wrong, as I kept them set-up like I was instructed, dusted their fruit flies and made sure that they always had fruit flies available, and made sure that they were misted regularly - as I know that their respiration depended on a moist environment.

I never intended to breed them, (or hybridize them) and I'm scared to get more, for fear that any others I get may not survive.

Darts can be a little tricky. They can harbor parasites and need at least a couple different 'types' of supplements. Quarantine should include separate species containers (different species can carry different pathogens, from different parts of the world. Leucs and Azureus come from different countries) and fecals to test for parasites.
Misting in not necessary as long as the humidity is correct. Anywhere from about 75% to 100% RH.

In my opinion, just looking at the pics, those frogs were too young (and skinny) to be sold.
