Having trouble with pics

I'm having trouble posting pics in threads. I've followed what the previous post said on how to post pics, but all I get when I go to preview the post to make sure the pics are there is a res X where the photo should be. My pics are under my profile, but I can't paste them to the thread. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi,

Are you clicking on the pics so they are full sized then using the text from the direct link in the opo up box or (alternatively ) just pasting in the text from the BB image code box like this?
