Securing temp probe to inside of glass

@f4n70m: Yes, my thermostat probe is taped directly to the UTH outside the tank, and the temp probe is taped over the UTH directly to the glass inside the tank. Thanks.

@Kaorte: Thanks. I was wondering about using a hot glue gun inside the tank for the temp probe. I don't have any experience with a hot glue gun so I'd have to research this a bit. Knowing me I'd screw it up somehow so I'd want to test it out first.

@SAR17: Great point. I hadn't thought of that. I was just thinking about the tape getting stuck to the snake. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hot glue guns are pretty easy. You can pick up a mini glue gun from a craft store for about $5. Basically just plug it in. let it heat up, put a glob of glue down on the glass and stick the probe in quickly before it dries.
