    Hmm if your taking about the sensor for your tstat that should be outside the tub on ur uth or flexwatt.

    The temp probe on a thermometer should be on the inside

    You can hot glue the thermometer probe to the glass inside the tank.

    The thermostat probe should be taped to the OUTSIDE of the UTH. The snake cannot move it there.
