Dont take this the wrong way but i feel its better shes passed away rather then suffering.
May be hard on you that shes gone but easy on her. No animal should ever have to suffer.
Glad you gave her a good 15+ years of life. Who knows if she would of lived that in the wild, always hurts to loose something you care for
