Re: question about my new bp??

ok great!! thanks so much again! i feel so much more ready lol!!

also, have you ever bred before?

if so, I know that the breeding season starts in november, do you know if every body should follow those rules, or try outside of the mating season for bps?

i only ask because i have heard supposed stories of people attempting to breed well before november and it actually working, but i have doubts about that.

    what do you think?

I start in october. Thats an early season. Some of my snake were started much later for a late season breeding. Anytime in the fall is a good time to start the cooling process. Many of us dont even do a cooling. Barometric pressure is thought to be more important than temperature in triggering breeding. Having a "rainy" season early spring helps too. Spraying down the enclosure after the cooling time will help trigger breeding. There are tons of tips and tricks. Just do alot of searching and research on here and the net. Pick up a good book like The complete ball python or Pythons of the world II.

These have alot of breeding info as well.

When you are ready just post whatever questions you were not able to find answers to.
