    Re: outdoor snake pen

If its just to take pics, why an enclosure?

Are you scared of the neighborhood kids that you cant whack em with a broom if they get too close? Are your bushes full of deadly predators that cant be kicked in their ribs for going after your snakey? If not, why bother with the enclosure. You should be all the protection he's going to need IMO, especially if its just for photo shoots or to cruise the grass.

lol whack them with a broom huh?
well i dont know these neighborhood kid's parents & whacking a kid with a broom will either get me personally assaulted by their angry parents or arrested for assault with a deadly weapon...hey you never know WHAT the police will try to charge you with these days.
    but i see your point...thanks.

    Re: outdoor snake pen

There is a company that sells a mesh enclosure. They are made with PVC pipe and the mesh stretches around the frame. It is then zippered up on one side. I used them when I bred Bearded Dragons to get the Beardies outside when the weather was nice and hot.

    They sold them in many sizes, from 1 x 1 x 2 ft, to some really large 4 x 4 x 6 ft enclosures.

    Good Luck!

    Re: outdoor snake pen

These mesh enclosures will work for snakes, so your idea isn't dead. Next time I'm in the pet store, I'll see if they have any and get a name or manufacturer.
