    You are taking a big step in your life, but in my opinion you are taking the right step. Most of the people that came to the US came here seeking better opportunity than was available where they originated from. When I was younger people used to move to the Detroit area to seek high wages in the Automobile industry. In the '80's lots of people went to Texas as it was booming in the midst of a recession. Not too long ago people (even you) headed to Las Vegas and Arizona because they were booming. Now I am hearing of people relocating to Tennessee or Georgia for opportunity. So many have done what you are doing before and it usually works out for the best. You will miss your wife but it will only be for a short period. I suspect that you will find housing to be easier and more affordable to obtain in Tennessee than in Nevada. While Vegas is one of the main victims of the mortgage crisis Tennessee never had inflated property values. We are all behind you and want you to succeed.
