How long do royals take to shed ?

Mine must be in shed for weeks now .. I think she is even in week two with cloudy eyes so I am wondering how they are normally in shed ?

My Kings normally get the whole thing done in two weeks or so

Also she hasn't had a decent poo in weeks .. can I assume that with the shed comes a nasty "surprise" ?

The shedding process can take from 12 to 14 days. Your snake should be shedding real soon and yes, you can expect a big nasty surprise once your snake has shed, lol!

Cool, cheers. Looks like her eyes starting to clear up now. I hope I can catch her shedding on a webcam lol.

One thing though... They usualy make a big mess of pee and poo after they shed. It would suck if that ruins your camera... LOL

If she can hit the camera then I got other worries lol - the camera is at the outside, just extremely close to the tub so it looks like its inside ;-)

My viv will have a decent camera mount ;-)
