    We have had one lowes tub get chewed threw, We know use the Home Depot bins. They are the same size too..

    They're ABOUT the same size. They're not interchangeable. Made that mistake.

    they can chew through the home depot tubs too, but it all depends on the RAT.if you have a chewer like I had they can chew through just about any tub.the rat i had chewed through the morter tub, and then through a sterilte birthing tub!!, needless to say her and her babies are snake food.......

    p.s I screwed a piece of mesh screen over the morter tub hole and its o.k now

    Another thing is the HD tubs are like 12 bucks a tub vs Lowe's are 5 bucks

    the large hd tubs are over $10 a tub at HD...

    but comparable sizes, they are comparable prices. (about $5 each)

    ok i just built one of these and sold it, the tubs at home depot where 5 each they were 19.5 x 27.? x 6 inches somewhere in that area and it held 1.4 with comfort but i removed the babies asap or usally moved the momma to keep her from being prego back to back
