Anyone have any good pulled BBQ pork recipes
Looking to try something different this year for a BBQ and am looking for a slow cooker recipe for a BBQ pulled pork. I will be having the usual burgers, dogs, chicken, and skirt steak but I wanna add another dimension as well...Look forward to seeing what you got!

Slow cooker as in crock pot, or slow cooker as in a smoker - because the BEST pulled pork is one that's been slow cooked in a smoker with a crispy skin!

I do BBQ pork roast in a crockpot. Just get a nice big pork roast without much lard attached(you can trim it off). Put it into the crockpot with some water, and add your favorite BBQ sauce(I use Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory BBQ). Cook until the roast is "cooked" and then cut the roast up into smaller portions(you can cut it first if you want to but I'm lazy and cheap, I buy pork roast bone in, so it needs to cook so I can get the bone out easier). Cook it on low until it's falling apart, then add more BBQ sauce and stir/pull it up.
My boss requests me to make this at least once ever couple months and offers to buy me a pork roast to BBQ.
Oh.. you can add in onions and/or garlic if you want to. But I've had awesome reviews from everyone on this method. Plus it's simple, easy and doesn't take watching over a oven or basting or whatever.
If you make your own BBQ sauce, hey.. use it. I love the brand I get here, so I use that.

The night before, mix 2 tbs of paprika, 2 tbs of chili powder, 2 tbs salt 2 tbs salt, 2 tbs of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and rub all over your pork. Wrap SUPER tightly in saran wrap, and put it in the fridge. The next day, you're going to want to put 2 cups of apple juice, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbs of liquid smoke, 2 tbs of garlic powder in your pot or slow cooker, and stir, then plop your pork right in.
If you're doing it in the oven, it's roughly 3-4 hours at about 300-325 degrees, depending on your oven. In a slow cooker, you can pretty much just let it go until it shreds beautifully.

There is no way to beat a smoker if you are looking for pulled pork at home. The best stuff comes from an open pit BBQ but obviously not many people have those in their homes and even if someone wanted to they are illegal in several states.
