    Sables?

It might just be my eyes, they were never that great to begin with and are only getting worse, but visually is there any major difference between a sable and a normal? I know that most non-visual morphs have some value genetically, but what exactly can sables be used for?

I'm not hating on the sable - I have a spot in my heart for every bp morph - but I'm just curious.

Great example, Tim. I'm sure Miss Heather will chime in with some pics too as she likes her Sables.

Sables are one of those morphs like Axanthics or Spotnose or even some hypos. In the wrong light or a poor pic and they look like normals with just a little something off..

Next chance you get go to an expo find someone that has them and lay hands on a couple. You'll quickly see how different they are.

    Re: Sables?

There is definately a difference but I don't understand why some people get so into them. I also feel that same way about black pastels and cinnamons though. None of them look really good to me and I have no desire to get any of them. But some people really love them. I just don't understand why. I don't get whats so great about a spotnose either TBH.

    Re: Sables?

Thanks guys, the pictures I've been looking at weren't that great in color quality, so the details of the speckling weren't that great. Maybe that, or they just weren't that great looking as far as sables go?

    Thanks for the clarification!

Totally understandable and thats the great thing about having so many different morphs there's something for everyone. I put off working with allot of the "Darker" or subtle morphs because I didn't like them. But over time after seeing loads of them they grew on me.

Now lets face it when people come over I don't rush to pull out the Spotnose or the Cinni or even the adult mojaves. No it's still the pieds and Lemon Pastels and Spider's and bee's that get the oooo's and ahhhh's..and thats fine I have a special place in my heart for the subtle ones..Cause they make some Killer combos.
