And that breeder was displaying his animals in the acrylic display containers, which I believe were about 2x the size of that deli cup, if not larger. Perfectly sufficient for displaying at a show and transporting home.

well when speaking with dave colling from Rainbows-R-Us he states that the sire to my male is a pastel motley and the dam is a coral albino, so thats how dave came to the conclusion that my male which i purchased from him is a pastel het for coral albino, then there was a user which came in and stated that my snake wasnt in fact a pastel so i took my post elsewhere and had the "pros" give me some input, and one of the post i got from the boaphile is ...
you pretty much cant argue he's not this or that anymore, if the guy who defined what the pastel boa "look" is comes in and says "yes he is a pastel" then what more do you need? he also gave me a little insight as far as conducting my business with the breeder and not taking it public which i can understand, but i was looking for an instant answer from other users being as though i was told my male wasnt this or that in the late night hours so i couldnt just call Dave up and talk to him about it, although i did email him and he cleared everything up as well. although i still dont know he was able to tell. i see everyone saying that pastels dont have speckles/freckles or any black, i thought if an animal didnt have black that would make it an albino? so to answer your question do i know what it is that makes him pastel, no besides the fact that his father is a pastel motley also; Dave mentioned that some people use the term "pastel" to define pinks, orange, and peach colors which is what i thought of at first...
