I was never really interested in the smaller boa species. (It's funny how often I say things like that. I was never really interested in lizards until I was introduced to beardies, then I was never really into amphibians until I brought home my first tree frogs, then I was completely uninterested in inverts until my best friend bought a tarantula... I wonder if there's any reptile/amphibian/invert I actually don't like. ) But anyways, I was at the San Mateo show on Saturday and spotted these little rough-scaled sand boas from Global Captive Breeders and fell in love.
My new little guy.
Very nice pick-up. They just made it to the top of my "want" list. Maybe someone will have some at the next reptile expo in May...
I do have to admit that those "true" sand boas with the eyes on top of their heads are a bit freaky and interesting looking
