Is it ok to take my BP outside in summer?

I would like to take my BP outside now that the weather is warm, but I'm worried about ticks, mites, illness... Is it safe to take her out? Is it ok for her to roam in the grass under a very very watchful eye?

It should be fine. I wouldn't put the snake on a lawn recently treated with pesticides, or in random open fields that could have ticks. If its just in your backyard, your snake will probably not pick up anything. The mites that are harmful to snakes are snake specific so your snake should not pick up snake mites.

Just make sure you never take your eyes off the snake. They can move pretty quickly if they want to

Its alot of fun to put them in tall grass, they will do this little slither and then poke their heads up like a periscope, its hilarious!

    it looks sorta like this...
