    Pied..whose the daddy

Recently my pied female has started eating again after breeding well for the last few months..Been pairing her up with my pied male..no joy, tbh he has not been getting it on with my pastels either despite them trying hard with him..wondered if she was finished breeding so popped my het vpi axanthic in with her..lo & behold within a half hour they were locked so I guess the pied boy isnt performing..she has now been bred with a pewter, pied & now a het axanthic, they are all being held back so the least I can get is het pieds..just hope I dont get a split clutch or it will be confusing lol!

I think at this point since you have bred the het axanthic to her, any 'normal' babies will be het pied, will not be 100% sure to say if they are possible het axanthic or not. you wont know if the normals were fathered by the pewter or the het axan. Good thing you are keeping them all tho

lol! its just going to be a mystery clutch..hopefully if the pewters the daddy I might get a pewter, black pastel or pastel, if its all normals I will assume possible dhets and het pied, if the pieds the daddy it will be easy, worse scenario will be a split clutch,, fun eitherway as not for sale
    p.s they are still locked
