well i tried
my bp is in shed and i tried to feed cause a few people said it wouldnt hurt to feed it him while he is shedding, but he refused to eat. probably cause he couldnt see what the heck he was doing..... i know they dont see well in the first place and they rely on smell and heat to catch their food but he is really scared when he is shedding

Re: well i tried
Doesnt hurt to try, but its no big deal. Some snakes will take food during shed, and some wont. All of my snakes will take during a shed. But its nothing to really think about. A nice healthy snake, granted its not a hatchling, can go up to a year or more without food, though i dont think any of our pets should go this long.

Yeah, don't sweat the small stuff. There may be a time that your snake will stop eating for no reason at all. They eat when they want, not when we want them to. It's all good!
