Re: i need some opinions
Well my snake just went through a shed that wasn't turning out well so I soaked him for about a half hour, the next day I checked and he got almost all of it off.

Re: i need some opinions
Has he already shed and had a bad shed? If so, then you should soak him.
If he is just in shed and will shed in the next couple of days, make sure the humidity in the enclosure is around 70% and leave the snake alone until it is done shedding.

Kaorte is right. Do not soak unless the snake has already shed and it was a bad shed. IE, flaky, pieces stuck to the snake, etc..
All you have to do is increase the humidity fairly well when they go into blue. This means when you notice the dull color and the blue or foggy eyes. Keep the humidity high until they actually shed. Soaking before a shed has been known to cause the snake to have a bad shed. It is not needed nor is it recommended.
Increase humidity be misting the enclosure every day, putting a humid hide in, an extra bowl of water over the heat source etc..
The snake will go back to looking normal before it sheds. The eyes will clear again. Within a couple days of this you will find a skin in there.
