I think when I hear anyone having any type of reptile I refer them here to the caresheets...or I just print them off. Working at the school it has been so cool to turn kids onto reptiles and teach them the real skinny.

Daily we have several kids ringing the door bell to our house. I believe we have become the local petting zoo.......someone suggested we start charging a fee. But honestly it has become my mission to teach children the true information in regards to reptiles. ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDD...it is working!! Suburbia is now a snake friendly environment here...lol....we did the Reptile expo for the school and turned over 400 kids onto reptiles....and that is not counting the other 800 at the school that I have done little "in class" things with. Even the teachers are starting to embrace it and learn the true information in regards to them.

We just had a first grade teacher rescue a leopard gecko that was in really bad shape. She sought me out to help....egads I don't really know much about them but used the caresheet sheet here....and referred her to this site...and our local reptile vet. Soon enough...we will have each class housing a reptile. .....not really but at least they will be properly taught about them.
