dented eye
i was holding my ball python and there is a small dent on her eye. is this somthing to be worried about? or will it just go away? its very small and idk how it happend. what would cause it?

Hey Chris, typically a humidity issue can cause dented eye(s). Whats your humidity?

Just try to keep humidity no lower than 45% ideally you want 55-60%

its around 50 on average. i cant get it above that.

If using a screen top for a cage cover 3/4 of that with a towel,alum foil, or plexi glass to hold in heat and humidity

How long has it been since the snake last shed? You can put a small tupper ware type container in there with some moist moss, cypress mulch, or coconut bedding. This is a humid hide. Dented eyes can be a sign of low humidity of the snake may just be ready for a shed. If you provide a humid hide the snake will lay in it and will get the extra boost of humidity it needs to fix the eye denting and assure a good shed.
