    not eating

    hey everyone. i need some help. i've had a female for a while now and she's always eaten for me. she usualy eats every 7-10 days, but for the past month 1/2 now she hasn't been eating anything for me. i've tried feeding her at night, in the day. i've tried different colours, tried feeding in different environment, iv tryed different sizes. and about 3 weeks ago i got a male and i was told that he hasnt eatin anything 4 about 3 months, and iv tried to feed him and isnt eating. so can any1 help me out plz??

    Its breeding time! They go off feed during winter! Check to make sure your husbandry is correct and wait it out!

    Yep, its normal for that to happen. It wont hurt the snake for it go off feeding for a few months, as long as they aren't loosing too much weight.

    Search all BG's threads and read the one that says. If Ball Pythons could talk. This will help.

    My 2 1/2 year old BP is approaching her 5th month with not eating - amazingly though, she has not lost any weight.

    It still worryies me but I don't know of anything else to do for her.

    Each week I hope and pray she will eat but nothing yet.

    As long as all of your husbandry is spot on (read the caresheet about "why my snake won't eat). Then don't worry about it. As long as the snake is not loosing weight, it will be fine.
