Well, for my first clutch of this year, here is my basic timeline.

Paired - 11/20 (Lock Observed), 12/15 (Lock Observed), 1/9 (Lock Observed), 1/26, 2/18, 3/17 (She wanted NOTHING to do with him for obvious reasons)

Ovulation - Missed it, wasn't expecting her to be first

    Pre-Lay Shed - 3/1

    Laid - 3/27 - 7 Eggs, All Healthy

Re: i know each snake is different...post your breeding timelines!

I try to leave the snakes alone a lot, and just change waters and papers when necessary. I even skip checking them for a day occasionally--at this time of year, they seem to respond to my absence with EGGS. (Never fails--I skip a day, then the next day I find brand new eggs--they love being left alone to lay them).

But, as a result...I miss ovulations. Caught my first certain ovulation this year. Het albino female, on 04/02.

So far, I have 3 clutches in the incubator.
    03/25 - clutch of 9
    03/30 - clutch of 8
04/05 - clutch of 7 (hopefully the countdown doesn't continue, lol)

Of course, if it continues at this rate, I should expect another clutch in about 5 days...

Breeding can be so random -- and differs within each collection, region and from year to year..

    There are SO MANY FACTORS!!!!!!!!!!

I watch locks(1 every 4-6 weeks), ovulations, and post ov sheds. 90% of my girls lay 29-33 days after POS. I am on a year-round breeding schedule. I am still moving females into my breeding room as space becomes available from a girl that lays -- and will continue the "breeder shuffle" until June -- cooling is for sissies. LOL
