From what I understand they are BP's natural food source and can often help with picky feeders as they are like a treat for them. But, can also cause a problem because then they may have trouble going back to regular mice/rats.
Imagine eating plain chicken every day then all of a sudden someone offers you a perfect steak, you're not going to want that chicken again
