Re: My ball python still doesn't eat!!!

I have a Female Spider that hasn't eaten since January. She still looks good though. I have no worries about her eating yet. All of my other Balls are eating great though. She is the only one that went on a fast this winter. I am sure when she comes out of it she will jump on the mice like there was no tomorrow.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.

a couple of mine haven't eaten since early February, which is just a little after I started breeding rats. now the feeders are starting to pile up. I may have to start freezing them soon.

That's why I love my Boa , she has never refused a meal .

Oh yeah... she was even lighter about 2 weeks ago, and has been coiled tightly on the hot spot this past week. Looks like your female pastel is on her way!

Seriously, they will eat when they are hungry and not before then. But it's amazing that when they do decide to eat, we will think it was that "trick", that prey, that worked... anything other than they happened to get hungry.

    She should eat soon.

To save stress, I would stop offering until I saw her cruising her tub more regularly.
Yep...that's what the BP told BG also.

Mine went four months this year and according to the first owner doesn't eat during the winter. I say give her time. She'll eat when she's ready.
