    Securing a DIY cage door

Would you ever use a roller catch (actually, 3 of them) to keep an enclosure door shut?

I'm finishing up a cage for my future bp and considered using something like this x3 to keep the door closed... reason being purely aesthetic. I don't really like the look of eye latches or of most of the other latches at the hardware store. The roller catches would be fixed just inside the enclosure and would thus not be visible.

I know I'm kind of going out on a limb here with even thinking that one of these could keep a bp from pushing the door open... but what about 3?! Lol.

I would NOT use them. BP's are great at gettin out. I'd go with a style that you can put a lock on or some kind of clip.

    Cheers
