Yes there are windows in the room, but if the blinds are closed there is next to no light. Im going to go lightless for a while and see if it makes a difference for her.
I think you'll do both you and the snake good if you just let the night be black and dark. Its been proven by studies that humans sleep better in pitch black darkness. Which is why those who work at night have a tough time sleeping during the day. No night light needed... your snake won't have nightmares.
