If you don't currently own a chondro I would suggest starting slow. This is not one for beginners and purchase of such an amazing animals shouldn't be taken lightly. buy one quality animal over two not so great ones (even though they are all great)

Back on topic! in short, no. Feeding one head is hard enough. One mouse and two heads....

    Re: GTP per cage?

Would this be your first snake?
My option on snakes is they should be house separate. I realize others may disagree but for multiple reasons I house all my snake separate.
I agree with purchasing and reading the more complete chondro book. Its well written and it advice from someone who has kept and raised GTP for many years and his research and hands on info is amazing.

GTP’s are truing beautiful creatures. I do know of people that have got them for their first snakes and many times it just hasn’t turned out. Since there are so many things one needs to educate themselves on like finding the right breeder and housing and how not to handle a neo ect. ect.

Many believe Gtp are hard to care for and I disagree once you are educated on their care it’s like with any reptile. Proper care, housing, is just something you do each day and no big deal.
My only suggestion at this time for you is ask lots of questions do your research and read the book...3 or 4 times. This way you are ready!
I wish you luck they are fascinating animals to own I love all of mine and looking to buy more.
