    BEL in shed ?

Considering the lack of pigments I have a bit of trouble to see if she is in shed or not

Now I noticed today that she isn't moving at all even though she is normally very active from 8pm on ...

Now the only thing which LOOKS like shed are the eyes ..

Would you say that those eyes look typically "shed ish" ? This is my first morph and my other snakes are a bit easier to figure out lol ...

She did eat on Sunday btw.

A pink belly is a real tell-tale sign of going into shed.

    Re: BEL in shed ?

I find it really hard to tell on our Super Mohave BEL. She kinda turns pink all over at first. Even the opaque eyes are hard to judge since they're so light against the white background. Once she's really in shed her belly goes quite pink and is then noticable. By then she gets inactive and stays in her hide. Once she's out and about again, we will find the shed somewhere in her enclosure.

Its much easier to judge when the axanthic is going into shed.

    lol - nice try ...

She is getting all "dirty" pink all over the place now - guess she is shedding after all. And she started soaking which she never done before .. Guess I need a bigger bowl lol - nice snake knot ...
